Connect uses pared-down, simplified versions of Looking Glass tools and exercises, along with group discussion, working in a group of eight to ten people. Those taking part need access only to a computer, tablet or smartphone for a connection to a Zoom session – plus a pencil and paper.

While many have suffered mentally from the isolation and loneliness of lockdown, there is also the fear of coming out of lockdown – uncertainty, rapid changes to rules and expectations, and a longing for stability to return.

Connect helps those taking part to:
• understand ways that being in lockdown (being in it and coming out of it) can affect each person differently.
• identify what causes our anxiety, and consider why identifying it might help
• share different ways of getting through this – what helps? and what make it worse?
• develop ways to maintain a more positive outlook on the future
